1. Agreement and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions and the integrated Disclaimer ("Agreement") establish the legal framework governing your access to, registration with, and use of our website, mobile applications, and all associated matrimonial services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing, browsing, or using any part of the Service in any manner, including but not limited to creating an account, submitting a profile, uploading content, or making a payment, you unconditionally accept and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must immediately cease using the Service.

If you are accessing this Service on behalf of another person or entity, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that person or entity to these terms.

2. Service Description and Purpose

Choopulu Matrimony is a digital matrimonial platform designed to facilitate introductions and connections between individuals seeking matrimonial alliances. The Platform provides tools and features that enable users to create profiles, search for potential matches, view other users' information, and communicate through our messaging system.

While we strive to provide a respectful and secure environment, we are not a dating service, matchmaking guarantee service, or matrimony certification body. We facilitate introductions only; we do not guarantee compatibility, relationship success, marriage prospects, or any specific outcomes. The responsibility for evaluating potential matches and pursuing relationships rests entirely with the users.

3. Service Jurisdiction and Territorial Scope

The Service is primarily designed for and intended to serve individuals residing in India. However, the Platform may be accessed by users from outside India at their own discretion and risk.

Important: Users accessing this Service from jurisdictions outside India do so at their own risk and are fully responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations, and restrictions of their respective jurisdictions. We do not guarantee that our Service is legal, available, or suitable for use in all jurisdictions.

All user data will be processed, stored, and managed in accordance with Indian law, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, and related regulations. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from the use of this Service shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Amaravathi, Andhra Pradesh, India.

4. User Eligibility Requirements

4.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to register, create an account, or use any feature of the Service. We do not knowingly permit users under 18 to register. If we discover that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate that account without notice.

4.2 Legal Competence

You confirm that you are legally competent and have the full capacity to enter into binding agreements. You are not under any legal disability, guardianship, or court-ordered restriction that would prevent you from using this Service.

4.3 Marital Status Requirement

By using this Service, you acknowledge that you are either:

• Never married (Bachelor/Bachelorette)
• Divorced or legally separated
• Widowed
• Or otherwise eligible to marry under applicable Indian law

Users must not misrepresent their marital status. Any user found to be married, in an active relationship, or otherwise ineligible to marry will have their account terminated immediately.

5. Account Registration and User Responsibilities

5.1 Account Creation Requirements

To access certain features, you are required to complete our registration process and create a user account. During registration, you must provide accurate, complete, current, and truthful information. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Your full legal name as per government-issued identification
• Valid email address and/or phone number
• Correct date of birth
• Accurate marital status and other profile details
• Genuine photographs that represent your current appearance

5.2 Obligation to Maintain Accuracy

You are solely and entirely responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all information on your profile. You must promptly update your profile if any information changes. We reserve the right to request verification of information at any time, and failure to provide credible verification may result in account suspension or termination.

5.3 Account Security and Confidentiality

You are completely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username, password, and any authentication codes. You must not share your account access with anyone else. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account, whether authorized by you or not.

You agree to:

• Use a secure, unique password
• Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access or breach
• Log out of your account after each session, especially on shared devices
• Not attempt to access other users' accounts

We cannot and will not be liable for any unauthorized access to or loss of personal information resulting from your failure to maintain account security.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service solely for lawful, ethical, and respectful purposes related to seeking matrimonial connections. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and respect the rights of all other users.

6.1 Prohibited Activities

You are strictly prohibited from:

• Misrepresentation: Providing false, misleading, outdated, or fraudulent information; using aliases or impersonating others; misrepresenting your age, marital status, appearance, occupation, religion, caste, or any other personal detail
• Harassment and Abuse: Harassing, stalking, threatening, abusing, bullying, or intimidating other users; sending unwanted or repeated messages after being asked to stop; making derogatory comments based on caste, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics
• Illegal Content: Uploading, posting, or sharing content that is illegal, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, libelous, or pornographic; content that violates intellectual property rights; content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
• Malicious Activities: Uploading files containing viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, or other harmful code; attempting to hack, manipulate, or damage the Platform; trying to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Commercial Exploitation: Using the Platform for business purposes, marketing, advertising, solicitation, or commercial transactions; using the Platform to sell products, services, or cryptocurrency; engaging in multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes
• Fraud and Scams: Engaging in any fraudulent activity; attempting to deceive other users for financial gain; requesting money, gifts, or financial assistance under false pretenses; romance scams or advance-fee frauds
• Data Misuse: Scraping, crawling, or extracting user data; using automated tools to access the Platform; downloading or collecting other users' information without consent
• Spam and Manipulation: Sending unsolicited bulk messages; using bots or automation tools; manipulating search results or profile visibility
• Illegal Substances and Activities: Promoting or requesting illegal drugs, weapons, or services; engaging in or promoting prostitution, trafficking, or exploitation

6.2 Profile Content Standards

All content you submit to your profile, including photographs, descriptions, preferences, and messages, must:

• Be accurate and truthful
• Respect the copyright and intellectual property rights of others
• Not violate any laws or regulations
• Not defame or harm any person or entity
• Be appropriate for a matrimonial platform
• Not contain links to external websites without permission

7. Content Ownership and License

7.1 Platform Intellectual Property

All content, design, functionality, software, code, logos, graphics, text, images, and other materials constituting the Platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Choopulu Matrimony or our licensed partners. These materials are protected under Indian copyright law, trademark law, and international intellectual property conventions.

7.2 Limited License to Users

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for the purpose of finding matrimonial connections. You may not:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the Platform or its content
• Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying technology
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices, trademarks, or proprietary notations
• Transfer, sublicense, or assign your rights to another person
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without express written consent
• Mirror, cache, or create a derivative database of the Platform

7.3 User-Generated Content

By uploading, submitting, or posting any content to the Platform—including profile information, photographs, messages, comments, or reviews—you grant Choopulu Matrimony a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, display, and distribute such content. This license is necessary for us to provide and improve the Service.

You retain ownership of your content and confirm that you have the legal right to grant this license. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate any laws.

8. Payment Terms and Pricing

8.1 Subscription and Premium Services

Certain features and services may be available only to paid subscribers. Premium features and pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase. Pricing is subject to change at our discretion, and we will provide reasonable notice of any price changes.

8.2 Billing and Payment

Payment will be charged to your chosen payment method at the time of subscription or purchase. We accept all major payment methods. Your payment information is processed securely by authorized third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card details.

8.3 Non-Refundable Payments

All subscription fees and payments are non-refundable and final except as explicitly stated in our separate Cancellation and Refund Policy or as required by applicable Indian law.

This includes:

• Initial registration fees
• Subscription plan charges
• Premium feature access fees
• Profile verification and enhancement charges
• Any other paid services

8.4 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes related to your purchases. Depending on your location, GST and other applicable taxes may be added to your charges. Tax amounts will be displayed before you complete your payment.

8.5 Billing Disputes

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, you must contact us within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and resolve disputes in accordance with our refund policy and applicable law.

9. Privacy, Data Protection, and Security

• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the quality or authenticity of user profiles or information

10.2 No Warranty of Results

We explicitly do not guarantee or warrant that:

• You will find a suitable matrimonial match
• You will establish a relationship with any user
• Any matches suggested will be compatible or suitable for you
• Any relationship will result in marriage or long-term commitment
• You will have any successful outcome whatsoever from using the Service

The success or failure of any connection is entirely dependent on the individuals involved and factors beyond our control. We are a platform facilitator only.

10.3 User Responsibility for Verification

We do not verify the identity, background, marital status, financial status, or any other personal details of users. You are entirely responsible for verifying the authenticity and suitability of any individual you connect with. Exercise caution, meet in public places, and conduct background checks if necessary.

10.4 Third-Party Content and Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, content, or services. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for these external resources. Your interaction with third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

10.5 Accuracy of Information

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 Damages Disclaimer

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY INDIAN LAW, CHOOPULU MATRIMONY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND ASSOCIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Direct Damages: Any direct loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
• Indirect Damages: Loss of profit, income, revenue, goodwill, or anticipated savings
• Consequential Damages: Any special, incidental, or consequential damages
• Reputational Harm: Damage to your reputation or emotional distress
• Data Loss: Loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your data
• Third-Party Actions: Actions, conduct, or content of other users

11.2 Liability Cap

Our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from this Agreement or your use of the Service shall be limited to the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding your claim, or INR 500, whichever is greater.

This limitation shall not apply to:

• Your indemnification obligations to us
• Breach of confidentiality or intellectual property infringement by you
• Your unpaid fees or outstanding payments
• Claims arising from fraud or gross negligence

11.3 Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that your use of the Service is entirely at your own risk. If you are dissatisfied with the Service or any of its terms, your sole remedy is to cease using the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Choopulu Matrimony, its founders, officers, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or in connection with:

• Your violation of this Agreement or any applicable law
• Your use of the Service or the Platform
• Your content or profile information
• Your infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your interaction with other users
• Any fraudulent or illegal activity on your part

13. Account Termination and Suspension

13.1 Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time by submitting a request through our support portal or by contacting us directly. Upon termination, your profile will be deactivated. Note that some residual data may remain on our systems for backup or legal compliance purposes.

13.2 Termination or Suspension by Choopulu

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Service immediately and without prior notice if we determine that you:

• Have violated any provision of this Agreement
• Have provided false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Have engaged in harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior
• Have engaged in illegal, unethical, or harmful conduct
• Have attempted to hack or manipulate the Platform
• Are engaged in a pattern of inappropriate conduct
• Have violated our Community Guidelines or Acceptable Use Policy

13.3 Consequences of Termination

Upon termination, you lose all rights to use the Service. We may delete your profile and associated data, although some information may be retained for legal or operational reasons. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any amounts paid.

14. Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations in your use of the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform does not violate any laws of your jurisdiction.

If any portion of this Agreement or your use of the Service violates applicable law, you agree to modify your conduct to comply with such law or cease using the Service immediately.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The applicability of the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods is excluded.

15.2 Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or related to this Agreement or your use of the Service, the parties agree to follow this escalation process:

• Step 1 - Informal Negotiation: Parties will attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation and communication within 15 days
• Step 2 - Mediation: If unresolved, the parties agree to submit to mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
• Step 3 - Arbitration: If mediation fails, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996

15.3 Jurisdiction and Venue

Notwithstanding any other provision, you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Amaravathi, Andhra Pradesh, India for any legal proceedings that cannot be resolved through the dispute resolution process above.

16. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update this Agreement at any time at our sole discretion. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We may also provide notice of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.

Your continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. If you do not agree with any changes, you must stop using the Service immediately.

17. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if not possible, it shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, including the Privacy Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy, and Community Guidelines, constitutes the entire legal agreement between you and Choopulu Matrimony regarding your use of the Service. It supersedes all previous negotiations, representations, and agreements between the parties, whether written or oral.
